Letter
One of my tasks was to write a letter to my local MP and councillors, asking them about local sport and exercise facilities in my area and if any improvements or new facilities.
I was going to use mail merge for my letters. First of all I did some research to locate the names and addresses of my local MP and councillors. I put these details into an address book spreadsheet which is viewable here.
I then wrote a first draft of my letter. This can be viewed here.
This was then commented on by one of my test users. His comments can be viewed here.
I then created a new draft of my letter taking into account the suggested improvements, this can be viewed here.
Finally I went through the mail merge process to create my final letters. Screenshots and a write up of the mail merge process can be viewed here and my final letters including the names and addresses are available here.
